Just a note to let everyone know that Neil Fahy's new book, "A Guide to
the land snails of Ranomafana National Park, Madagascar" is available.
It's on the California Academy of Sciences website at

<www.calacademy.org/research/mad>

Neil, an enthusiast of great expertise who has traveled the world in
search of terrestrial snails, has been a frequent contributor to
American Conchologist in years past. He says the section on the "World
of Land Snails" has a question and answer section on what land snails
are, what they do, how they live, and what is their future, and he
thinks this might be of great interst and help to beginning land snail
collectors. Have a look.
