Dear all,

After me this landshell definitely belongs to the species Cernuella
(Cernuella) jonica (MOUSSON, 1854). I reexamined some specimens in my own
collection and compared them (as good as possible) to the pictures on the web.
After Dr. J.L. Van Goethem's list of Belgian land and fresh water mollusca
Helicella profuga (SCHMIDT, 1854) is a synonym.

Regards,

Thomas Schampaert
