Hello,

The giant African snail is very well established here on Kwajalein in the
Marshall Islands.  We were here in the late 70's and they were not here. I have
been told that they arrived here in the mid -eighties. After a rain, they are
out in force at night!  I do a lot of "snail picking" to try to save my garden
plants.
