Michael Huggins asks for suggests for fossil books.  For south Florida, try
Pliocene Mollusca of Southern Florida by Axel A. Olsson and Anne Harbison 
published by Robert E. Kreiger Pub. Co.  It's out of print but Dick Petit 
or Bob Lipe might be able to turn up a copy.  Forget the rare and valuable
(especially the latter).
