Hey Ellen, knowing you, I'm surprised you haven't planned to call the puppy
Zeno.

As for keeping the shells alive, go to Walmart, and purchase an aerator
bubbler, used for keeping bait alive when fishing. They usually require one
"D" cell, and have a stone that bubbles and puts air into the seawater you
are transporting. Take extra batteries with you, one battery should last for
about 6 hours. I keep fragile "greenback" baitfish alive all night in a
bucket while fishing, and this thing works great.
