Dear all,

From my dark high school days, when I studied Latin, I seem to remember
that Latin in it's purest form does not know the letter 'Y'. So no doubt
purists have latinised the name, leading to much confusion, similar to the
Röding/Roeding problem.

On a different note, I received a notification from Conch-list yesterday
that I was supposed to have posted a message similar to the one discussed
by Rich, with the virus attachment. In the first place, I did not post
anything to the list yesterday, in the second place, a virus check reveals
we have no viruses. So indeed others harvest your E-mail address to send
viruses around the globe.

regards

Patty
