Hello George,

fuscodentata grohorum is described in the last Lorenz book 2002.

As the holotype of fuscodentata is like fuscodentata form orientalis
Raybaudi from Jeffreys Bay area (long and strong teeth), he descibed a new
subspecie with fading midway teeth, also different color (dark, sometimes
purple margins and base in grohorum, beige in fuscodentata fuscodentata).
Anyway I think it's the same shell descibed as fuscodentata form
occidentalis by Raybaudi (see The Connoisseur).

fuscodentata fuscodentata = orientalis beige, strong and long teeth
Jeffreys Bay area

fuscodentata grohorum = occidentalis dark, sometimes purple margins
and base False Bay area

Hope this help you.

Regards

Pasquale Fazzini
