Dear Conch-L'ers,
The following message was received on the MOLLUSCA server, and the author
requested that it be posted on Conch-L as well.
Please respond directly to him, as he is not a Conch-L subscriber ...
HI . . .
I write a series of on-line photo essays entitled "This Week at
Hilton Pond" in which I describe nature happenings at Hilton Pond
Center for Piedmont Natural History near York SC (see
http://www.hiltonpond.org).
For the week of 1-7 April 2003, I tackled a subject--land
snails--about which I have limited expertise. I wonder if members of
the list might like to look at the current posting at
http://www.hiltonpond.org/ThisWeek030401.html and provide feedback,
especially with regard to my tentative identification of a snail I
have keyed out as Mesodon clausus.
Best wishes, and thanks in advance,
BILL HILTON Jr.
