Hi, Paul!
I suspected as much, but thought I'd ask because there are
some similar appearing shells that have most of their
color in the perio.
If you are off to COA, have a splendid time.
How is your shell room progressing? I brought back a
whole slew of shells from a good collecting place in
Florida - on the Gulf, where we went out to the end of the
barrier islkands and collected on a sand bar in the pass.
Lots of freshly dead material, the kind you don't feel any
twang of conscience for collecting, especially since there
were plenty that we left behind. I also made the round of
the shell shops, since COA is just too far for me to go
this year.
Cordially,\
Linda
