Dear David,
there is one book on Turkish land-snails which could be quite useful.
Unfortunately it is written in German and I think hard to get. I bought
my copy at ebay. The full reference is:
Schütt, Hartwig 1996. Landschnecken der Türkei. - Acta biologica
Benrodis, Suppl. 4: 497 pp.; Verlag Natur & Wissenschaft, Solingen.
ISSN 1432-3710; ISBN 1-927889-37-7
It includes 484 taxa with synonymy list, short description, distribution
(within Turkey), and illustrations (drawing or photograph; no colors!).
Cheers,
Michael
