Living hydrocarbon seep associated bivalves typically include
bathymodioline mytilids, vesicomyids, and lucinoideans, all of which
are chemosymbiotic. Some thyasyrids are also chemosymbiotic, as are
solemyoids. Large clams suggests bathymodiolines or Calyptogena.
