This is interesting. I can't find the item(s) on ebay, though. Maybe someone
has bought them?

Subject: Curious?
Hi, All!
For those of you who are curious as to what I was talking about. There are
eleven green tree snails for sale on eBay, by a motorcycle parts dealer.
BUT...the most interesting fact is that they are accompanied by a hand
written letter from Tucker Abbott, dated 1966. He apparently sent them to a
collector, as they were museum surplus. I would almost rather have the
letter, without the shells. Obviously, the seller is not aware of the law
regarding the selling of Papustyla pulcherrima.
Cheers,
Linda
