Assunto: famous patronyms

I was somewhat surprised to find that there was a Conus petergabrieli Lorenz, 2006. Is this Peter
Gabriel the art rocker? If so - Whereas I am big fan of Peter and his original band Genesis, I
question why, with so many deserving people who have contributed to malacology, we need to recognize
other, marginal, people (like Boris Becker). Of course the Beatles rule, so maybe we need a Bailya
johnpaulgeorgeringoorum.

And if the species wasn't named after the "So" author, please disregard these rantings.
