Kool (1993, p. 201) reported that Nucella feeds on barnacles and mussels.
He collected this ecological data from Largen (1967), Murdoch (1969),
Connell(1970), Crothers (1973), and Spight (1982).
I am not aware of any non-carnivorous muricids. What species is Emilio
referring to?
