Hi Alex,
We just returned from a cruise with Royal Caribbean. Shell collecting on
Coco Cay, a private island, is prohibited.
I have not been to the Dominican Republic recently, but there had been no
problem collecting there in the past.
Best wishes,
Dennis Sargent

Subject: [CONCH-L] Shell collecting on Coco Cay (aka Little Stirrup Key,
Bahamas) / Bayahibe, Dominican Republic
Hi,
Anyone been collecting in either of these locations and have an experience
to share?
I am going on a Caribbean cruise and will have a good part of the day in
each of these two locations.
Thanks!
Greetings from Berkeley,
Alex
