Kate,
I too feel, not a bit, but very outraged by the posting of Mr. Barclay's
message on Conch-L. For some it was a type of "American Joke" that was
laughed at and got a few people off. I, for one, do not find this a joke ,
but an insult to the sensibilities of a group of people that have a duty to
uphold their values, as expressed for weeks on conservation. Funny is not
wiping out a population of any species and 1000 of any species from a
particular site is a massacre. Even as a joke, it is unconscionable to
think about. Are we now accepting "Black Humor" on Conch-L?
