Hi all,
I am interested in the Tridacna species and have a couple of questions. Does
anyone know in what publication the species T. rosewateri was named and who
named it and where T. tevora Lucas, Ledua and Braley, 1991 was first
published.
Also, now I know the Tridacnidae are on the CITES list, but does anyone in
the states have either of those two species for sale? I am going to try to do
a shell show display on the Tridacnidae and those are the only two species I
need that I know of. Does anyone know if any other species were named since
porcellanus Rosewater, 1982 other than the above two species?
As for replies to the specimen availability question, please respond to
[log in to unmask] and please not the list.
Thanks all,
(Pectens are still my first love, but one has to branch out a little)
