The Georgia Dept. of Natural Resources will be hosting a National Archery in the Schools Program workshop Friday, Aug. 31 at Baconton Charter School in Baconton, GA. The workshop is for schools interested in Georgia's archery program. The training runs from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and there is no registration fee.

Schools that get two or more Ag or P.E. teachers certified at the workshop receive a $1,500 archery equipment grant. Other grants may also be available. For more information or to receive a workshop registration form, contact Matt Stewart at 229.430.1847 or e-mail [log in to unmask]
