The Georgia Department of Natural Resources will hold a National Archery in the Schools Program workshop May 28 in Valdosta, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is no cost to attend. This workshop is to receive certification as a basic archery instructor and qualifies schools that send two or more teaches (at least one P.E. or Ag) for a $1,500 archery equipment grant to be used for in-school archery instruction.
