Teachers,

Many of you have been asking about the scoring rubrics for the new proficiency award applications. The rubrics are now available. To access the proficiency award scoring rubrics, follow the steps below.

1. log on to www.ffa.org
2. put your cursor on the "Programs" link and then select Proficiency Award
3. On the proficiency award page, select the "Resources" tab in the menu bar on the left side
4. On the proficiency award resources page, look at the menu on the right and you will see 3 rubrics; 1) Research Application rubric, 2) Entrepreneurship or Placement Application rubric, and 3) Combined Application rubric.

The Entrepreneurship or Placement file is the rubric used to score applications that cover SAEs that are entirely Entrepreneurship or entirely Placement.
The Combined file is the rubric to score applications that cover SAEs that are a combination of BOTH Entrepreneurship and Placement.
The Research file is the rubric to score applications that are based on Agriscience Research SAEs.

As you assist your students with their applications, please show this rubric to them, and help them understand how points will be awarded. If you have questions, please let me know.
