Congratulations to Ms. Veronica Owens, Agriculture Instruction and FFA
Advisor at Osborne High School in Marietta for receiving a $500.00
award from the Captain Planet Foundation.
The Osborne students and teacher have been recognized for their " Go
Green" projects in Organic Gardening and Recycling Projects.

 Ms. Owens agriculture education program was selected based on her
students educational instruction which:
• Promote understanding of environmental issues
• Focus on hands-on involvement
• Promote interaction and cooperation within the group
• Help young people develop planning and problem solving skills
• Include adult supervision
• Commitment to follow-up communication with the Foundation
