A lot of my Hexaplex have 6 varices per whorl, but not all. Some have less and some definitely have more. Can someone explain the meaning of Hexaplex to me? I Also have the issue with Chicoreus. A lot of my Chicoreus have 3 varices per whorl, but some have many more.
Are there any Murex fans out there that could expand on this?
