I sent this to Simon privately, but thought I'd pass it on to everyone.  We
found this combination in our boat book--it was recommended to clean mildew
off of the cushions.  Don't know if it would work on shells, but it really
did a NUMBER on the cushions.

Mix
1 Tbs. ammonia
2 oz. hydrogen peroxide
6 oz. water
