Concerning the decline of Achatina fulica on Guam, could the recent
proliferation of snakes (of another invading species) have anything to do
with it? I have read that the snakes have been very hard on the local
birdlife, and some juvenile snakes eat snails. Can anyone respond to this
speculation with solid observations? I've never been to Guam.
