Dear Mr. Deng Y. Zhang,
My name is Maurizio, I live in Italy, and I'm
one of the two Oliva specialists among the
Conchlers.
I'm writing to you in order to know if you are
interested in trading Olives collected by myself
in Indonesia or Philippines with olives collected
by yourself in your Country.
Many Oliva species live in your waters and I would be
very interested in them.
I may also send you a copy of the my two last articles
just published, they are:
Oliva (Omogymna) nitidula Duclos, 1835
General considerations, intraspecific variability,
and report of a new melanistic form from Guam.
on "La Conchiglia (The Shell)" magazine, n.296
The other one is :
First report of syntopic occourrence of Oliva oliva
Linnaeus, 1758 with an Oliva sp. of the "Oliva oliva complex".
Field observations regarding localities and habitat, with
some notes on live animal behaviour.
on "Vita Marina" magazine Vol.47, n.3.
Both the articles have some nice and interesting color plates.
Let me know if you are interested in and I will send you
a free copy, ok ?
I'm looking forward to hear from you, best regards
Maurizio.

Dear Lynn and Conch-ler:
I'm sorry for the Vita Marina, but I'm an American Conchologist's
new reader, when I browse through the Vol. 28, I find it's a good
publication...
