Hi, Conch-Lers!

I have run accross amother odd shell in the collection the clun
bought. I am sorry that I can't sxan it for you (perhaps later I
can have it scanned onto the club site).

It is ovate, about an incg in diameter, abd offhand I would say that it is a Pteria. The oddity is that the periostracum (and maybe the shell too; I can't tell+ is a bright grass green. It is
cery fragile, so most likely it is a young specimen.

Any clues?

Cordially,
Linda - see you in Saeasota!
