There are four different sizes of nerve fibres (Primary Afferent Axons).
They are, in order of decreasing
size: A-alpha, A-beta, A-delta and C. The NCV for the respective sizes is
below:
A-alpha 80-120 MPS (miles per second)
A-beta 35-75 MPS
A-delta 5-35 MPS
C .5-2.0
There is no way a neurotoxin could match this speed.
