I also use Access 97 for my shell database - it does a great job but it
is VERY expensive.  I was already hooked on Word, so Access comes along
as an added feature with the Office Suite.  However, one of the nice
things about Access is the wizard program.  This program is a great aide
in building a customized database (actually, I had my son-in-law build
mine - but I have made plenty of changes).  I have shared my program with
others but if you have an earlier version of Access it will not work.
