Hi, Conchlers!
I just recently received a 16 inch Charonia tritonis (and with a little of the spire missing, it had to be a part of an inch bigger). Do we have any idea of how old the animal
might have been? I know that rate of growth can vary with the almount of Calcium available in the water, but I would think that a shell like this would have to be "up there in shell years." Comments?
Hoping everyone receives some new shells during the holiday season!
Cordially,
Linda
