I thought presenting this shell would be easy. However, seems it's not
clear if C. dilectus and C. florifer (Reeve, 1846) are separate. This shell
often presented as C. florifer dilectus (A. Adams, 1855) (see Lee 2009
Marine Shells of Northeast Florida).

So, what's the difference between C. dilectus and C. florifer? I have
several shells, but don't know how to separate them. Is C. dilectus just a
form? Why do some use C. florifer dilectus and others like MALACOLOG
separate them? The Murex group is one of my weakest, Help!!!!!!
