Hello!
Hi to all,
Do NOT forget tree snail bans in Florida. There is a total ban on collecting
Liguus.
Listed by the State as a species of special concern. There are other bans on
collecting of
"anything alive and dead" (not even glass bottles) in the Preserves
sprinkled thruout the South Florida area.
As a matter of fact you can not even enter into some of the preserves. There
are also "NO HUMANS ALLOWED, PERIOD!" areas within the Everglades National
Park.
If you pull off the road (either side) in North Key Largo area you WILL be
questioned by park workers, both Federal and State, as to "what are you doing
here?" Same goes for the saltwater fringes of these areas.
