This is an amazing amount of work and a beautiful book. And he saved the easy ones (Theodoxus) for volume 2! :)

Subject: [CONCH-L] Nerite Book

Perhaps many of you knew about it, but I found out just a couple of weeks ago that the first volume of Neritidae of the World by Tom Eichhorst has been published. I bought it and I am very impressed!

I have browsed through the book and have read only the first 50 pages or so. It is a great reference book; it is also a very readable one. One should not necessarily have to specialize in (or even like) nerites to enjoy this publication in which I have already found many surprises. If you are interested in mollusks at all,I think you will be very happy having this tome in your library.

Emilio
