So, I think it would be kind of nice to talk about the data that should
go along with collecting shells of all types.  This is something that
usually isn't talked about and most folks new to shelling feel like
kicking themselves when someone finally mentions that they should have
taken data at the time of collecting, and what they should scrawl down
for posterity. Data first, identification when you can. Anyone care to
say a word or two on what should be included to document the find
(whether it is collected by speciman or photograph)?
