Dear James,
How much is a green tree snail worth? Put your own value on it.
I think they are one of the most exquisite shells of all...color,
shape, texture, size...perfect! So,to me they are priceless.
The fact that you can't buy one makes them irreplacable; but even
if they were cheap and readily available...(my second favorite shell
is Harpa harpa, not rare or expensive).
As far a buying one? I've never seen one offered on a price list,
but did see a few in a gift shop in the 1980s ($10 each).
One thing to remember: each country has it's own laws, you might
see them offered outside of the U.S.
