There are Pecten jacobaeus, maybe Bolinus brandaris and Hexaplex trunculus.
Maybe fisherman Petrus has eaten some shells, but he was not able to remember
himself which species he had disposible for eating. At this time there were no
scientific names, maybe they've eaten some shells of the Red Sea or Lake
Genezareth. Sorry again for this joke, but I didn't have the bible at my hand.
The first three species maybe really named in the bible, but I am not sure.

question. What mollusks are mentioned in the Bible and other sacred
