Hi Mike,
 
The book Red Sea Shells by Doreen Sharabati is very useful.  Nice color photos
of many species.  It was published in 1984 by KPI Limited, 14 Leicester
Square, London WC2H 7PH, but I don't know who currently offers it.
 
You shell is undoubtedly Strombus fasciatus Born 1778, a very distinctive and
common Red Sea species.
