Dear AJ,
the genus of viridis is Smaragdia. It occurs in the Mediterranea and
Atlantic.
Fam. Neritidae
Smaragdia viridis (Linnaeus, 1758)
I cant remember if I've sent you Smaragdia viridis from the
Mediterranean, I have only small ones and from shellgrit. They
are not very good.
But I think its the same.
with neritic greetings

----------
Maybe someone can help me get this little pea green shells where they
belongs.
Is it "Smaragdia" or "Neritina" ?
Is it "viridis" or "viridemaris" or are they the same ?
Is it "Linne.1758" or "Maury.1917" ? I have books with both.
Are the Med. and Florida shells the same species ?
I think Mark's idea of group hug was all it took.
Thanks for any help.
