Dear Tom and Wes;-
        I can see there are problems in the path of lucidity. I think we should
probably practice first. We can tackle Telescopium and Elephants.
        My idea is that basic characteristics are obvious. Even I can tell a
Cone from a Stromb and a Marginella from a Cowry. And, Wes, I doubt if
any Genera depend solely on differences in Radulae. That and percs gets
us pretty well down to species differences and sub-species. I do not
have in mind going into that uncharted country.
        At least we're talking about a project. Probably the first requirement
is to turn it into a reasonable project.
