Dear All,
I am interested in conchological couples, that is, in husband-wife teams
who are both involved in collecting mollusks as amateurs or professionals.
While researching the history of the Geological Survey of Alabama, I found
an early couple, Herbert and Daisy Smith, who were active here in the
1910's. So, two questions:
Can you give me some other examples of conchological couples, perhaps an
earlier one than the Smiths?
and
What is it like to operate as a couple? Do you divide the tasks up, for
instance? What kinds of work are easier for couples than for singles?
Well, that's more than two questions, but I hope you enjoy answering them
anyway.
