Not sure the following answers your question, but it may give some insight
about the confusion
Fulgoraria (Saotomaea) pratasensis Lan, 1997 is a volute. See Bull.
Malac. Taiwan 21:17-19 and Of Sea & Shore 22:3 where it is illustrated as
isabelae
pratasensis Rehder, 1967 is Marginellona gigas (in Marginellidae). It is
found dredged in the South China Sea
Poppe, Guido T. & Yoshihiro Goto "Volutes" p32
Weaver, Clifton S. & John E. du Pont "The Living Volutes" P40H,I has it wrong
Abbott, R. Tucker & S. Peter Dance "Compendium of Seashells p220-6 also has
it wrong
