Dear Friends
Both sides have good arguments.
When we describe a new species, theoretically, it is eternal, and will
be used even 200 years from now. In that time, no one will care who
collect the specimen by the first time, who is the author’s friend or
boss, or who is his girl friend. But, surely, the species will have (if
it was not extinct) the same attributes that it has today.
I have described more that 30 new species, and I am proud in designating
a character for giving the name, in all them.
Best wishes
Luiz
