Hi Art:
How about naming them Fred & Ethel?
Could the rams horn one could be a Drurii, I’d have no clue w/o a picture.
I was shopping at Target this week and saw their latest novelty aquaria.
It is about 3" D x 6" H x 6"W
In it is tacky colored rocks, plastic plants and a big plastic rock.
It has a small frog in it and what looks like a fresh water Nerite.
Here in South Texas we have had an ecological tragedy with an introduced
aquaria
species. It is a Columbian Apple Snail. It has become abundant in the Rice
growing area of Alvin, about a half hour drive south of Houston. It has a
voracious appetite and breeds easily. Thus it is an agricultural pest… even
though the shell can be very nice.

Dear Conklers;-
I took a poll. And more people asked me NOT to re-publish my Flying Pig
Christmas poem,---than otherwise. OK. Yas dont recognice talant, jenius.
On a shell subject: I Still want to put a name to the snails that come
on greens in my fresh-water aquarium. There's two kinds: both brownish, about 1
to 1 1/2 cm.
One is rams-horned shaped. The other is Cerith shaped. Shirley, you have some
of these in your own aquaria. What, in the name of Hillery Clinton, are they??
And: I wish all you shellers out there a very Merry Christmas. Just
remember: It is more blessed to give than to receive---but a lot more fun to
receive.
