Absolutely !  I just came back (December) from an around-the-Yucatan
peninsula trip (guided by Peggy Williams)  which I'm currently writing up,
and have numerous  species large and small, in good condition. And, except
for a bit of in-shore snorkeling, they were taken on beaches.
