Dear all collectors & scientifics
Thank you for your congratualtions.
I already answered privatly to all of you.
For the others,
Size : 31mm. Color : very dark shell.
The shell was found live, during day-time while scuba in -
16 meters of water. It was laying under a big piece of rock.
In this area, we found also the acicularis & cinerea.
It was found in Martinique, where the shell is much more
hard to find than in Brasil or other South America
continental coasts. I have no other records of a living
surinam. found there.
I am going to try to catch another sp., i will keep tissue
for scientific researches then, and try to make better pics.
sincrely,
Dr. David Touitou & Mr. Goutal Fabien
