Dear All;- (---at least---most)
I was wondering if there have been any studies indicating
differences in intelligence among mollusks. Forget species. Are Cones
smarter than Cowries? Can Murex out-spell Volute?
Let's pass on the Octopi. We know about them. And you all know about
Archie Toothless, the giant Squid who lives in my basement and beats me
at chess. (He loved the recent mid-west flooding.)
I know we are talking about minimal thinking ability---but have any
mollusks demonstrated any ability to make a beneficial choice---as
opposed to instinct?
