I am very impressed with the number of phone calls, E-mail messages,
both privately and on Conch-L, that are in full agreement with my
comments.
 
Several folks have mentioned that the collection has been 'picked over'
and in some instances data lost or misplaced.  I had heard similar
remarks as far back as last January.
 
This whole situation puts a damper on a wonderful event we all look
forward to.  I strongly urge all of you to inform your friends, dealers
and acquaintences to pass up this auction.
