Dear Conchlers,
 
What's the latest on the generic classification of the pesky scallop
Chlamys and its nearest relatives? I have some Late Cretaceous scallops (C.
venusta) that belong to Chlamys as diagnosed in the Treatise on
Invertebrate Paleontology, but that was published way back in 1969.
