thanks for clearing that up. I really thought those attachments were a
failure in the system, but I must admit, that I am still an idiot concerning
computers.
 I used my Netscape browser to see your attachment. It shows your name and
e-mail address (which is already present in the header and the signature of
your mails). Please forgive me my ignorance, but what's the purpose of such
an attachment?
The problem I have with these attachments (not only yours, of course) is,
that they settle down on my harddisk - very often without me knowing this
(when I'm too lazy to scroll down to the last line of a signature, where
those attachments are shown). When I delete a mail, the attachment still
remains in my computer and I have to go to the file-manager to delete it.
This weekend I have deleted a dozens of those attachment files - not all
from Conch-L of course. A tough work, as I didn't know the file names,
because the mails they belonged to were already deleted some time ago. Yours
were easy though, because the file name stayes the same (vcard.vcf;
vcard1.vcf; vcard2.vcf;....), while the names of Maurizio's attachments
change according to the subject of his mail (ranybody; fromdeep;)
As nobody else is complaining, maybe I am  the only one struggeling with
these attachments?
