Yesterday I heard part of an NPR program on the radio. It was
malacologist Kevin Roe (sp?) from Wilmington, Delaware selecting some
of his favorite music. The interviewer had him explain briefly what
mollusks are. No musical volutes heard.

Why he was chosen to select music wasn't clear from the fragment I
heard. But I guess malacology is so exciting, radio hosts have to
change the subject....
