Just in case anyone was puzzled by my previous post: I wasn't directing my humor at anyone. (Well, maybe at the news outlets with their dumbed down reporting.) It was more a fit of juvenile frustration which resulted in my regressing to vent that primitive but powerful desire to "see pitchers" of what the articles were talking about.

And...would it be too much to ask reporters to explain what they mean by "Giant-sized snails" (measurement), if not what family they are from and whether they might be large specimens of known species?
